A fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and a writing desk available in the a double room. Absolutely friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff and marvellous location to the Chicago area! And so close to liquor store as well as McHenry.

Solo traveler beware

Walking in, the floor was clean and the check-in process was quick although it felt a bit rushed, but at least I got my key without much hassle. A couple of times, I mentioned issues to staff, they were polite but not really that helpful.

It wasn't exactly a bargain either.

missing amenities

Unfortunately, missing amenities left something to be desired. Our room lacked a microwave, and we noticed the continental breakfast offering was quite limited to just coffee, cereal, and maybe bagels. We also encountered a few maintenance issues, like a mini fridge that wasn't plugged in and some rust on the bathroom fixtures, which weren't ideal for the price paid.
